Happy New Year - 2013

30 mins before the strike of midnight, marking the end of the year 2012; i would like to take this opportunity to post my very last blog in 2012.

Probably the most memorable one for me is going to MELBOURNE! I was there for almost a month, spending time with my boyfie and of course to enjoy my holiday. It was actually my very first trip to overseas alone and i love every second of it in Melbourne. The food and scenery was just magnificent and the company with my boyfie was just perfect! Everything was perfect! Happily gaining 2 kg from the trip was definitely worth it, not to mention me being tan! wtf?? In Melbourne, i learn to appreciate the sun more because the weather there is cold and the wind just made it worst all the time, so whenever there's sunlight, i would go under it and enjoy the heat and walk like a boss from shop to shop.. IKR!!!

I think I'm quite blessed by having wonderful friends around me that would take care of me, guide me, generally just being there for me when i need them the most! My BFF never gets tired of all the bullshit that I had in my life or bullshit that came out from my mouth just to make her annoyed and plainly just to disturb her all year round! LOL.. fuck your life, yp!

They are the reason that i got good grades and strive hard to do better. Nevertheless, they always always never fail to make me laugh! My beloved darlings, i love you / wo ai ni!! I dare to say that I'm very fortunate to have them to be part of my life because they are always there for me, like when i have an argument with boyfie and they do not want me to think too much, they would actually accompany me throughout the day. I may not tell them, my problems but they knew something was wrong with me and they would find ways to cheer me up. So thanks guys=)

Last but not least, my boyfie! Thank you for being so patient with me throughout the years=) There are times that I feel like punching you in the face but I cannot do so cause i sayang your chubby cheeks too much. We've been together for almost 3 years now and we've been through so much heartache and happiness together and as a team/couple, we managed to stay strong together. So to my most beloved baby, I LOVE YOU like zombies love brains.. ON NOM NOM!!

Dr. Cafe with my Vegetarian Friend

Am i a food blogger or am i just a food blogger? LOL..

So im back to Publika today AGAIN!!!..
That place is seriously gonna be my new hang out spot! wootz!!
I went to Dr. Cafe Coffee with Popiah today as we bought the coupon from Groupon quite some time ago.
Since, it's gonna expired when i return from Melbs so, we decided to just use the coupon today.

Firstly, the environment of Dr. Cafe is much quieter and brighter than Starbucks. I would definitely relate and compare Dr. Cafe with Starbucks because im a Starbucks lover (that's why im so fat)!
Why do i claimed that it's much quieter than Starbucks? This is because Dr. Cafe may not be as established as Starbucks. Hence, less customers. When there's less customers, less annoying blending sounds.. Which means, PEACE!!
When there's a quieter environment, it's an excellent place for students to have their discussions for assignment, doing homework, or simply just to chill out!

Secondly, the beverages of Dr. Cafe. To be honest, this is my first time visiting Dr. Cafe and we ordered two drinks only. (below picture)

Obviously, my friends would know mine is the caramel because im such a huge fan of caramel! 

To me, my beverage it's only ok! I wouldnt go all crazy about it and wouldnt look forward to come back for my next try. Because i find it just ok! nothing to shout about BUT when it comes to the blending, the ice is much finer compared to Starbucks. It's like you're drinking milkshake, much better, CARAMEL MILKSHAKE!! That's the only advantage that i see from Dr. Cafe. 

As a whole, i preferred Starbucks because the Caramel essence from Starbucks is stronger and nicer compared to Dr. Cafe! 

On the other hand, the barista claimed that the cookies frappe is the BEST SELLING among the other beverages. I would definitely relate it to Starbucks Chocolate Cookie Crumble because this particular beverage has the small chocolate chips aka cookie crumble which you can munch it while drinking your beverage. However, it's not really Chocolate flavor drink because when i tried it, it's more like my caramel frappe.. So.. again.. nayyyyy... nothing to shout about! 

Maybe i shouldnt just generalize it just yet. I should try their hot beverages for my next visit.. Perhaps, hot mocha?? ahahaha... *mouth wathering*

Wilky's 22nd B'day @ Namoo On The Park

It's 2am and im still awake! NO!! i not suffering from insomnia, it's just i feel obliged that i have to post this up before i sleep xD

So, today Popiah, Evon, and I decided to celebrate Wilky's b'day in advance. Reason being, im going to Melbs soon and the bday girl is only available on sunday night. She's a busy girl, you know? How busy can she be??? well, let me tell you.. 

1. she teaches in a tuition centre (like 7 days a week)

and that's where she earns her pocket money! Fascinating right??? She does not take money from her parents like we normal teenagers do. She doesnt count on them but earns her own money.. That's why she's such a busy bee and that's why i salute her in what she does.. =)

back to the story. Unbelievably, Popiah and I actually did some research before choosing this restaurant.. We looked through blogs for reviews and ratings for both food and restaurants! LOL.. macam marketing research.. miss sumathi, if you're seeing this.. BE PROUD!! lol xp

Alas, we decided to choose Namoo On The Park which is located in Publika!

Well, it's sorta different from other Korean food and Wilky loves Korean Food. Therefore, we decided to give it a try =)

We ordered: 

Mocha : Wilky and my fav 

Kimchi Tang : It's rather tasteless. Am disappointed, so as Wilky. 

Spaghetti Cabonaro: Poor Evon couldnt consume spicy food. So, she chose this. 

Beef Rice Burger: This is what i chose. ONE word. WoWzErZ!! Instead of Bread, they replaced it with Rice and I love the combination of the rice where it's soft in the middle and crispy at the side! It's a VERY big portion for me. Suitable for guys, i suppose =) 

Milky something something (sorry i forgot the name for this): This was the waiter's recommendation! All the 3 girls didnt like it. However, i find it ok. They tasted chlorine but i tasted watermelon.. maybe chlorine is like watermelon to me. LOL! no la.. i think the seasoning for the burger is quite strong hence, i couldnt taste the 'chlorine' at all *le sigh*

And YES!! We girls, talked and laughed a lot! Making jokes of each other, talking about the next semester (such a nerd), camwhoring, but surprisingly we didnt gossip!! WHYYYYYYY???!!  :O (just kidding)

hi peeps! 

ive just finished my semester.. it was stressful and tiresome!! i literally studied and did my assignments around the clock.. and no! im not exaggerating! that's just it!! ive been constantly working around the clock and finally i had my study break. the results were fruitful as well. the results are not out yet, but what i meant by fruitful is that i got to learn so much throughout my assignments and i find it fun because i have a bunch of group mates that are always there to ask for help and are willing to help. i am eternally grateful (alex, popiah, wilky, and evon) 

and yes!! there are my new bunch of friends that i hang out with, other than alex of course.. LOL!

so why are they the best group i have ever worked with? this is because..

1. alex and popiah are just so good in finding information while i suck on it..

2. wilky and evon constantly offer themselves to help when they finished their part (who does that??!!)

3. me? well.. checked their grammar, i suppose?? (not trying to be boastful here :S)

so you see.. we work so well together =)

am gonna miss them much this sem break.. :'(

no! i don speak cina accent to siri.. i speak american english.. and yet.. she gave me/my friend this

i took out my braces already. 

i can finally smile proudly with my teeth already..

my cousin from england came back to msia to visit =) 

i think it was 10 yrs ++ since we last met.. 

she came back for around 2 weeks i think.. 

i didnt know exactly when cause when my dad informed me that my cousin and aunt were here. it was like 1 week later.. so yea.. should be 2 weeks. lol

well. within that week.. at least i get to talk to her.. haha.. 

i love her so much!! 

and i do get a lot of feedback from friends saying that she looks chinese.. lol.. 

i think she's proud of it.. looking asian.. i guess

i do look forward to visit her in england soon.. maybe tour in scotland??
